Private Yoga Sessions
While there are many benefits to be gained from attending group yoga classes, an ideal way for many people to learn yoga and develop a personal practice for their individual needs is through private consultation and instruction.
In a private yoga lesson, your individual needs will be discussed and assessed. From this, an individual practice of postures and breathing will be developed and taught; one that is appropriate for your particular needs. Individual needs to be considered might include general health, specific injuries or conditions, age, strength, flexibility, and life circumstances.
Some of the reasons to consider private lessons:
- Privacy
- Personal attention
- Development of a practice for your individual needs, i.e, infertility, conception, prenatal, postnatal and menopause, Multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons, special needs and more
- Specific therapeutic benefits for injury, chronic pains, illness, stress and emotional difficulties
- Convenience of lesson times made by appointment
Semi-private lessons can also be conducted with two or three people, and is great way to learn with a partner or friends.
Following an initial consultation, a program will be tailored to your needs.

Ayurvedic/Wholistic Thai Bodywork & Yoga Massage
This form of bodywork, also known as Thai Yoga Massage, Nuad Boran and Thai Yoga Therapy, is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. Thai Bodywork has its roots in
Reiki
Reiki (pronounced “ray key”) is a universal life energy used by practitioners for healing by the simple act of touch. It is a completely non-invasive therapy and applies no forceful pressure to the body or manipulation of the limbs. The client (if he/she is physically able) lies down on a table or mat and is fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner uses a combination of hand positions that channel the energy from the practitioner to the client. Reiki works through the energy centers of the body, balancing the energy flow and creating the optimum conditions for well being. Reiki can be used with any condition. However, it is NOT to be used as a substitute for traditional medical care. It is a complementary form of medicine. It is recognized by the National Institute of Health and is used as a complementary therapy by many cancer institutes. Some hospice programs also offer this therapy to both the client and caregivers that they service. Reiki can boost the immune system thus helping the patient heal themselves.
